Established in 1993, Shanghai East Asia Patent & Trademark Agency, the successor of Shanghai East Asia Patent Agency, is the first Shanghai-located private patent agency registered in State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C. as well as a foreign-related patent agency authorized by State Intellectual Property Office of P.R.C. Most of the 12 full-time patent agents are experienced and professional pioneers of patent agency since the enforcement of patent law in 1985. Among them, 10 are senior level and the other 2 are intermediate level. Our nature of business includes: chemistry and chemical engineering, medicine, electronics, biology, physics, mechanics, law and etc.

Business Scope:
We can be your agent to
1. Handle domestic and overseas patent application and trademark application, which include consulting, indexing before sending the application and process management during patent validation.
2. Declare the invalidation of patent
a. Request the Patent Reexamination Board to declare the patent right invalid.
b. Defend to uphold the patent right.
3. File an opposition against the trademark.
4. Send application of trademark evaluations and re-examination to Trademark Examination Board of SAIC.
5. Handle patent & trademark litigation.
a. File a lawsuit against infringements;
b. Defend for infringement of the patent or trademark exclusive right.
c. Sign recording a license contract
6. Consultant and deal with other related issues;
